The DWEP Package is designed to feed all 4 turbines –

turbine.

The package consists of a Demineralised Water Equipment

Package (DWEP).

The main purpose of the DWEP system is to reduce the

NOx emission from gas turbines to below 25 ppm of NOx

by injection of demineralized water into the combustion

chamber of the gas turbine.

The plant converts sea water into demineralized water

(DW) for injection into the gas turbine. The DW is purified

to a level specified by the turbine supplier. The degree of

salt content is assessed by the measure of the fluid

conductivity, in micro Siemens per centimeter (??S/cm).

Reverse osmosis is used to reduce the conductivity (salt

content) from more than 35000 ??S/cm to less than 1 ??S/

cm. For reference, drinking water normally has a

conductivity of 100 to 500 ??S/cm, and 100% pure water

measures 0.055 ??S/cm. The system can be divided into five

main steps.
